Every year on this day our country celebrates the achievements, life and sacrifices of Reverend Doctor Martin Luther King Jr. the most notable civil rights leader of the 1960’s. Dr. King was awarded the Nobel Prize for his work and leadership and sadly lost his life at the age of 39.
